Manómed Kft. does everything to ensure that you can be certain of the protection of your personal data.
From this information, you can learn what information Manómed Kft. collects, manages, and stores when someone uses its services or products. The information may contain data regulated by REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (GDPR 2016) and Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (Infotv.).
This policy describes how we handle your data when you use our services, contact us, or we contact you. In addition, it contains further details from a data protection perspective for cases when you enter and use our website (for example, regarding HTML cookies) or our other online presence (for example, Facebook or Twitter). Manómed Kft. and its employees use information in compliance with all laws on the protection of personal data, including Infotv. and GDPR 2016.
In accordance with these rules, Manómed Kft. is considered a data controller and, in cases of certain services provided, a data processor.
When a third party would have access to your data, we inform you whether they do so as a data controller or data processor, who they are, and what they do with your data, and why we pass the data on to them.

1. Why do we process your personal data?
We process your personal data to:
- Know who you are and communicate with you in a personal way. Based on legitimate interest.
- Provide you with products and services. Based on the contract concluded with you.
- In case of billing and payment. Based on the contract concluded with you.
- Identify you to be sure that we are indeed in contact with the desired person and not someone else. Based on legitimate interest.
- Inform you if there is a problem or other change with the product we handed over or the service we provided. Based on legitimate interest.
- Improve your experience with our services, especially during visits to our website. Based on legitimate interest.
- Inform you about offers and promotions. Based on your explicit consent.
- Provide you with a useful and relevant website. Based on legitimate interest.
- For filling positions and performing job duties, if you are a member of our company.
2. What personal data do we process, and when do we collect them?
For the purpose of selling products and services, we process the following data:
- Your name
- Your contact information: for example, your address, phone number, electronic contact details, such as your email address. We may also establish contact on Twitter or Facebook or in other ways, in which case we need to know your Facebook or Twitter ID, username.
- Billing and payment, bank account data.
- Details about how you interact with our website or services provided, for example, from what IP address and with what browser you call up our website.
- For our employees, their CVs, payroll data, activity, and performance data.
We collect these data directly from you.
On our website, we use HTML cookies exclusively to improve the online experience provided by our website, not to identify you or others based on these data (see details below regarding cookies). Similarly, we log the IP address of every web client and user visiting our website, again not to create a personal profile of someone, but to ensure that our website provides useful and relevant information to its visitors.
3. How do we use the collected data?
We use the data available about you in the following way:
- For the purpose of meeting and appointment coordination, we use your name and contact information, such as your e-mail or postal address, phone number.
- To provide our regular services, we use your name and data of your purchases and orders.
- Using our billing software, we issue paper-based invoices, on which we indicate your name and contact information (address, phone number).
- When fulfilling the invoice in the form of a bank transfer, you provide us with your bank account number through our bank. We store bank statements and forward them to our accountant.
- When we register a product in your name for warranty administration purposes, we use your name, email, and postal address.
- When we invoice you, we send out the paper-based invoice through the postal service provider with your name and contact information indicated on the envelope.
- If you use your email mailbox on our server, we log your IP address when downloading emails. If you send or receive email messages through our server, then also your and your partner's email address.
- To improve the usability of our website so that you can better find relevant information.
4. Where do we store the data?
We store data in the following places. We never request or store bank card data; if we were to have a card payment service somewhere (which we currently do not), these data would go straight through the payment service provider, bypassing us, and only a confirmation of the fact of payment would arrive to us with your name and the name of the purchased products and services.
5. How long do we store your data?
We store paper-based invoices for a maximum of 5 years: the duplicate is with the accountant, and a triplicate is stored at the document storage location.
Our accountant handles the data in accordance with data protection regulations, does not pass them on to third parties, and returns them to us annually together with the accounting data.
We store your data in the electronic database of our billing software in accordance with legal requirements.
In case of warranty fulfillments, we store your data until the end of the legally determined warranty period.
We store log files of our servers and database backups for 3 years.
After the storage period has expired, papers are put in the trash using a paper shredder.
Electronic data are deleted with multiple overwriting.
Defective data carriers are technically destroyed before being passed on to an electronic waste collector.
We store payroll data of our employees for 20 years in accordance with legal requirements for the purpose of pension calculation.
6. To whom do we pass on your data?
Based on legal obligation or regulation, to you and third parties. In case of electronic sending, we send data through an encrypted channel.
Our accountant is a Hungarian resident; the data remains within Hungary and is managed and stored in accordance with data protection regulations.
Our bank provides services in the territory of Hungary; it manages and stores data in accordance with data protection regulations.
7. How can I get to know the data that are available to you?

8. What if the data stored about me is incorrect or I would like it to be deleted from the system?

10. Do you send me emails or text messages?
Generally no, unless we plan to introduce or are introducing essential technical or legal changes related to the use of our services.
We only send other marketing and advertising messages based on explicit approval.
11. How can I unsubscribe from the email or text message list?
You can unsubscribe from marketing and advertising messages by following the unsubscription instructions found in the message. The fact of unsubscription is recorded in connection with your personal data.
